Since  completing my Master’s degree with distinction in Journalism , I have been published on several sites.  A Room of One’s Own is my online portfolio, my collection of published works that I have articled on this one site. Currently I am the Editor-in-chief for the new magazine, Canadian Teaching Magazine. I am also a regular contributor on BBC journalist’s Jasmine Birtles website, Moneymagpie. In addition to my articles, I have written The Friendly Mortgage Guide, the e-book that has become a must have for all those trying to navigate through the perilous world of mortgages.

I’ve created, contributed and published XY Lifestyle Magazine an artistic and fun exploration on contemporary lifestyles in Australia.  In addition, I am the Director and writer of the documentary As-Salamu Alaykum, featuring prominent Australian political activist, Silma Ihram.  The documentary is an exploration of contemporary images of Islam presented in the media.

While working in London, exploring the emerging musical talent was a great joy.  I was able to interview and review many of London’s up and coming talent like Danelle Harvey and Daisy B.  Many of my features are available at Hybridlab.org.
